Physician - Psychiatry

Job Summary:

This position offers a full-time schedule with a 4x10 structure, focusing on 20% clinical work and 80% administrative responsibilities. The role involves leading a team of medical professionals while providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a collaborative team of medical professionals, including primary care providers, mental health prescribers, nurses, and support staff.
• Provide direct client care in an outpatient setting, including psychiatric assessments for new patients and ongoing care for existing patients.
• Identify medical and psychiatric system issues and develop solutions to address them.
• Develop and implement medical and psychiatric policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or Board-eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Active or willingness to obtain an unrestricted Alaska Medical License and current DEA certificate.

Compensation:

• Base salary of $385,000.
• $25,000 sign-on bonus.
